What is business value, and why do we need to deliver it to our customers early and often?  Do we even know who our customers really are?  What business value metrics are captured in your organization?  What happens when we don't deliver significant business value to our customers?  Sure we think we know the total impact, but do we really understand it?  Has leadership even thought about the impact internally?  What about low morale of the company, delivering low quality products, and high customer turnover.  Are teams self organized and empowered to innovate, or are new ideas squashed by management€.
